Why do candles change the atmosphere of a room?

Published On: 29th January 2016

Candles are often seen as a representation of special occasions, from blowing out birthday candles to romantic meals and holiday celebrations, but what is it about candles that bring such atmosphere into a room?

Although candles feel particularly luxurious during special occasions, they are fantastic for year-round pleasure, particularly during winter, bringing a hint of special into any everyday situation. A striking candle can transform your establishment into a homely place for customers to relax, unwind and enjoy.

The soft orange glow of a candle naturally gives the feeling of warmth and comfort, which will be especially well received during the colder months of the year when the sun sets earlier in the day. They give the room a cosy mood, without the need for a roaring fire.

Our exclusive brand TableSMART have a range of tableware including candles and also napkins. The TableSMART napkin range includes 1-ply, 2-ply and 3-ply napkins in popular colours which are suitable for any dining environment. TableSMART candles are available in tea lights, pillar candles and tapered candles, in a variety of different colours. The TableSMART tapered candles are 25cm tall and come in traditional white, modern red or elegant ivory.

Tapered candles, sometimes known as dinner candles, are tall, thin candles that are burned in a holder and are the traditional style that comes to mind when people think of candles. The ivory TableSMART tapered candle looks wonderful in any establishment and suits multiple styles of candle holder, from crystal clear and luxurious to colourful and fun. The candles combine quality with value, giving your table a stylish finishing touch.
