Bunzl Catering Supplies 32-page Christmas catalogue helps operators maximise Christmas sales opportunity.

Monday July 1, 2019

Bunzl Catering Supplies, leading supplier of disposables, packaging and hygiene solutions to UK foodservice operators, has launched its Christmas range with a 32-page Christmas catalogue that boasts thirteen new cracker designs and six new tableware ranges. Helping its customers to plan ahead for their busiest season, by making it easy for them to place a single order for all their party supplies, the Christmas catalogue 2019 is a must-have for all catering operators.

Matt Johnson, Managing Director Catering & Hospitality Division, comments, “There’s a significant opportunity for catering operators to grow their sales during Christmas and New Year, whether it’s by adding Christmas-inspired hot drinks to the menu or hosting special Christmas and New Year events. Our new Christmas catalogue helps operators do just that – bringing together an essential range of crackers, tableware, hot cups and party accessories in one complete collection.”

Building on its most popular cracker options from last year, the Christmas catalogue brings together forty-six crackers in a variety of colours, sizes and gift content – from the 9” Holly cracker with matching Jolly Holly tableware to the 14” Elegant Flock cracker with matching metallic napkins in silver and gold.

Customers will be wowed by the unique Kraft board Christmas crackers – Kraft reindeer and glittered Merry Christmas Tree.  Made from Kraft paperboard, loved by customers for its natural, rustic appearance, these crackers are the perfect match for other popular Kraft foodservice items like cups, napkins and paper bags.

The silver cracker range boasts the unique option of a luxury cracker in a compact 7” size.  Often associated with a budget offering, smaller crackers have generally been available in a red and green option with a standard gift content, but responding to market feedback, Bunzl Catering Supplies is offering a compact, silver cracker with a luxury feel and a premium gift content.

Exclusive tableware designs for 2019 include the Kraft Christmas Tree Ribbon napkins and the red and green Christmas Present napkins. Practical and appealing TableSMART napkins, tablecovers and banquet rolls come in red, green, black, champagne, gold and silver options and new tableware designs include Star Stories in red and cream from supplier Duni and Winter’s Tale in Kraft and red from supplier Swantex.

As well as a full array of crackers and napkins, the Christmas catalogue also includes artificial trees, decorations and lights and an exciting range of festive design paper hot cups. Off-the-shelf festive design hot cups help operators stand out from their competitors, without the need to commit to a bespoke print and are available in single-wall and double-wall options, made in the UK from PEFC Chain of Custody Certified Board.

A broad selection of brightly coloured New Year’s Eve and Any Time party kits and gift boxes, designed to create a memorable party occasion, include all the trimmings partygoers have come to expect – hats, balloons, party poppers, streamers and novelties, all guaranteed to cause a stir.

Artificial Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands bring the festive feel indoors without the need to clear up needles. In addition, catering operators can complete the festive look with a stunning range of indoor and outdoor lights – including LED string timer lights that transform any venue into a winter wonderland.

Matt Johnson, Managing Director Catering & Hospitality Division, concludes, “The 2019 Christmas catalogue is stuffed with new products and innovation – crackers designed specifically for children, a premium cracker in a compact size and a Christmas themed paper placemat. It’s a collection that puts our customers one step ahead of their competitors during the festive season, and we’re very excited to launch it to market.”
