Industry leaders at Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division conference 2016

On Friday 22nd January at the annual Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division conference, over 500 delegates from Bunzl Catering Supplies gathered for an informative and engaging day of business presentations, culminating in a show-stopping supplier experience.

Held at the iconic ACC conference centre in Liverpool, senior managers at Bunzl, including Paul Budge, MD Bunzl UK & Ireland, Matt Johnson, MD Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division, and Darren Broad, MD Bunzl Catering Supplies, updated Bunzl delegates and suppliers with a review of 2015 and a look at how we’ll be continuing ‘Making Hospitality Happen’ in 2016.

In the afternoon, Bunzl Catering Supplies delegates had an opportunity to attend the supplier showcase experience; where our partner suppliers put their key products and services on show in a variety of fun and engaging ways, with plenty of prizes and goodies available for Bunzl delegates to take away. Partner suppliers who took part in the event included KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL* UK, Huhtamaki UK Ltd, SCA Hygiene Paper, Coveris, Swantex, Wrapfilm, Deb, GOJO, Dart Products Europe and Diversey UK Ltd.

After a busy day of conference events, delegates re-grouped at the ACC in fur-lined jumpers and woolly hats for an Après Ski themed evening meal; followed by award presentations for outstanding contributions to the business in 2015, presented by Matt Johnson.

Chris Hogg for National Account Manager of the Year
Fay Johnson for Sales Person of the Year
Mitchells and Butlers Implementation Team for Team of the Year
GOJO for Supplier of the Year

A special congratulations to our partner supplier GOJO (pictured above), who were awarded the Bunzl Catering Supplies Supplier of the Year Award 2015.
