LINdis® R has been designed with the environment in mind. It is manufactured from post consumer recycled PET, providing a level of rigidity and robustness not commonly found with tableware solutions, ensuring that food stays on the plate and not on the consumer’s lap!

Recycled materials often raise questions about food safety. LINPAC however, is a pioneer in the use of recycled plastics in food packaging. More than £8 million has been invested by the company in its in-house supercleaning technology to meet the growing trend of recycled plastics being used in food packaging and rigorous food safety standards.

The technical committee of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) vetted and approved the processes employed by LINPAC in 2013, even when using 100 per cent post consumer recyclate (PCR) in the manufacture of its products.

rPET is easily recycled, reducing the amount of packaging that goes to landfill, and results in a carbon footprint reduction of close to 70% when compared to virgin PET. Manufacturing recyclable products containing high levels of recycled material helps to create more of a closed loop packaging process.
