Online Sustainable Future customer forums in October

Published On: 8th October 2021

Head of Sustainabilty for Bunzl Catering Supplies, Jutin Turquet, and Sustainability and Packaging Innovation Manager for Bunzl Catering Supplies, Katie Bradbury, are running two, online Sustainable Future customer forums in October, via Teams.

A regular, popular event with Bunzl customers, the forums are taking place on Thursday 21 October and Friday 22 October, from 10am to 11:30am, and will provide an overview of the latest environmental legislation that will impact operators in the hospitality industry in the near future.

These forums come ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26 (taking place in November in Glasgow), a significant gathering of world leaders meeting to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Recent polls have shown that only 1 in 6 people know what COP26 is, yet it is likely to shape the direction of our global approach to the environment and planet for a generation and will have an impact on the hospitality industry long-term. The forums will provide some jargon-busting facts about COP26, so operators can understand the significance of COP26 and the likely influence it will have on sustainability measures going forward.

Also at the forum, Katie Bradbury will be showcasing the very latest material and design product innovation in the marketplace via the Innovate brand. Bunzl Catering Supplies are market-leaders in brininging innovation to its customers first and works closely with its suppliers as new design concepts emerge.
