Little Trek Tibet

Published On: 1st March 2015

Two employees from the Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division are taking part in a once in a lifetime opportunity to join the Springboard fundraising trek and community project to Little Tibet in North East India.

The two employees are:

Andrew Ullman – Driver Bunzl Catering Supplies – Bristol

Antony Ward – Marketing Manager Bunzl Speciality Businesses – Peterlee

This life changing 10-day expedition trekking in the shadow of the Himalayas combines the experience of hiking in majestic mountains with the chance to get involved in a community based educational project in Little Tibet, making a lasting difference to lives in one of the poorest and most remote regions of the globe.

Partnering with a local charitable organisation, the intrepid trekkers will help improve the lives of young people in villages en route through organised educational and community projects. The trekkers will also be raising money to improve the lives of young people who face difficulties and hardship in the UK.

The Springboard last trek to Nepal raised over £140K which meant they were able to help another 70 young people overcome their challenges and get into life changing employment in hospitality.
