Footprint Awards 2022
The established market leading awards scheme for environmental sustainability and responsible business practice, Footprint Awards are taking place on the 9 June at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London. This year, the Bunzl Catering Supplies are proud sponsors of the Energy Efficiency award, as part of its Sustainable Future programme.
Footprint Awards give organisations the opportunity to show to their customers and the public at large, the steps they have taken to make their own contribution to the sustainability of both industry and planet. This includes how organisations manage their energy, waste or packaging; their sourcing, use of resources or logistics. Organisations can highlight their community impact initiatives or the promotion of the social agenda in their own organisations. Businesses that are sustainable producers or manufacturers who see the out of home sector as a key market are a key part of the awards.
Media exposure surrounding the COP26 climate conference has thrust the environment into public consciousness like never before. Now, more than ever, is the time for organisations in the foodservice and hospitality sector to shout out about their corporate sustainability initiatives.
