FPA Awards Take Place This Week – Proud Sponsors and Finalists Once Again

The FPA Awards take place this week, on Thursday 5 March, bringing together leading businesses and individuals from across the hospitality and foodservice packaging industry to celebrate excellence, innovation and commitment.

We’re proud to once again play a prominent role in this year’s awards, both as sponsors and finalists, reflecting our continued dedication to supporting the hospitality sector and the people who help it thrive.

Sponsoring the Manufacturer Award
We are delighted to be sponsoring the Manufacturer Award once again. This award is voted for by FPA distributor members and does not have a shortlist, making it a particularly meaningful recognition from industry peers. It celebrates manufacturers who consistently demonstrate outstanding quality, service and support to the foodservice and hospitality market.

Shortlisted for the CSR Award
We’re also pleased to confirm that we have been shortlisted as finalists in the CSR Award, recognising organisations that show a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility. This nomination reflects our ongoing focus on responsible business practices, sustainability and making a positive impact across the hospitality supply chain.

Celebrating Dan Wain – Unsung Hero Finalist
In addition to our company recognition, we are incredibly proud that Dan Wain, Head of Operations at Bunzl Catering Supplies, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Unsung Hero Award, a category introduced for 2026 to recognise individuals whose contributions often take place behind the scenes.

With 14 years at the business, Dan has progressed from warehouse operative to national Head of Operations and is widely regarded as a key figure within Bunzl’s operational network. Known for his calm leadership, integrity and genuine support for colleagues, Dan plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of a nationwide supply chain that underpins essential services across hospitality and beyond. His shortlisting is a well deserved recognition of the quiet dedication and commitment that the Unsung Hero Award was created to celebrate.

Awards Ceremony Details
The FPA Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 5 March at the Brighton Grand Hotel, bringing together customers, suppliers and industry partners for an evening of celebration and recognition.

Commenting ahead of the event, Justin Turquet, Sustainability Director, Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division, said:
“The FPA Awards are an important opportunity to recognise the people and organisations driving positive change across our industry. We’re proud to be sponsoring the Manufacturer Award once again, to be shortlisted for the CSR Award, and to see Dan recognised as an Unsung Hero finalist — all of which reflect the commitment, collaboration and responsibility that sit at the heart of what we do.”

We wish all finalists the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating the achievements that continue to drive excellence across the hospitality industry.
