New Wrapmaster® Compostable Cling Film

Published On: 9th October 2023

For catering and hospitality operations looking for ways to reduce the kitchen’s impact on the environment, the team at Bunzl Catering Supplies’ supplier, Wrapmaster®, has launched a game changer for professional kitchens, that can help in one simple switch.

Wrapmaster® has expanded its sustainable collection of wraps with an all-new Wrapmaster® 45cm compostable cling film that gives chefs an excellent general-purpose wrap that is EN13432 certified for industrial composting and certified OK compost HOME TÜV AUSTRIA.

With no compromise on quality, Wrapmaster’s compostable cling film is made from compostable polymers that break down in composting environments. It’s PLA-free and not made from any food crop or vegetable sources, making it better for the environment. Better yet, it also does not contain plasticizer, BPA, phthalates or PVC.

Catering operators can use it as they would regular cling film and cover or wrap any types of food. It’s also safe to use in the fridge and freezer*, making it an excellent solution for protecting food, preserving flavour, and reducing food waste in one simple move.

By using this compostable cling film with the Craft Guild of Chefs AAA approved Wrapmaster® ultimate chef wrap system, it’s never been easier to make the switch and reduce the kitchen’s impact on the environment.

Wrapmaster® compostable cling film is EN13432 certified for industrial composting, certified OK compost HOME (S2645) and OK compost INDUSTRIAL (S2645) by the technical experts at TÜV AUSTRIA, one of the leading certification and inspection organizations. Available now, it can be used with the Wrapmaster® 4500 and Wrapmaster® Duo systems.
