Bunzl Catering Supplies launch SHINE Games 2025
Building upon its inaugural success in 2024, this Summer, Bunzl Catering Supplies is once again hosting the ‘SHINE Games’ in an intrepid effort to raise £10,000 for its nominated charities, Nia Children’s Foundation and Cancer Research UK. Later in 2025, the business will deliver a minimum of 20 hours volunteering for its chosen charity Resurgo.
For one week, over 550 employees from Bunzl Catering Supplies will enthusiastically take part in a variety of fund-raising activities, from darts and badminton to basketball shoot-outs and cake baking, all to raise much-needed funds for the charities closest to its heart. Bunzl Catering Supplies believes that together with its people, customers, and suppliers, this initiative can make a significant difference, and is asking people to dig deep and donate where they can. Any contribution will be received with huge appreciation. And, if you are a UK taxpayer, please do not forget to Gift Aid.*
Bunzl Catering Supplies’ SHINE values were launched in 2023 to reflect its values and positively influence how the business works together. The ‘SHINE Games’ illustrate the businesses’ determination to engage with its people, customers, and suppliers to support local communities and charitable organisations.
*The government operates a scheme called Gift Aid that allows charities to claim the basic rate tax on every pound donated. If you are a UK taxpayer you can Gift Aid your donations, making them worth 25% more to the charity at no extra cost to you.
