Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division has officially released its Sustainable Future Report 2024/25, showcasing a year of impactful progress across climate action, social value, innovation, and responsible sourcing.
The report, introduced with a foreword by Craig Nightingale, Managing Director, reflects the division’s commitment to measurable sustainability outcomes. “Together, we are taking practical, measurable steps towards a more sustainable future – and delivering change that matters,” says Nightingale.
Key Highlights from the Report:
• Carbon Reduction: A 27.6% decrease in emissions since 2019 and a 32.7% increase in carbon efficiency.
• Fleet Transformation: 83% of company vehicles are now electric or hybrid, with only 17% using internal combustion engines.

The Sustainable Future Footprint Tool was also enhanced to help customers navigate complex packaging legislation and EPR compliance.
Recognising Excellence
Bunzl Catering Supplies was awarded the Best Recycling Project Award 2024 at the waste2zero Awards for its Verive reusable packaging range. AGGORA received the People and Communities Award for its Training Academy, which is helping diversify the hospitality engineering workforce.
Looking Ahead
The report outlines Bunzl’s roadmap to net zero by 2050, with near-term targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The division continues to lead the way in ethical sourcing, supply chain auditing, and global supplier engagement.
