According to the Automatic Vending Association (AVA) the UK vending industry turnover has increased by 2 per cent to £1.53 billion, with more operators expecting growth this year than delivered growth in 2016.
The average hot beverage vending machine dispenses 282 units per week and consumers are expecting a larger variety of high quality premium coffee options.

Within the Venezia range Benders have also introduced the new 12oz Max cup. This cup shape evolved in response to market feedback from vending operators. Based on Benders’ popular 12oz vending cup, its modified shape delivers an increase turret capacity of up to 35 per cent more cups per stack. The cups still have the same rim diameter of the previous 12oz standard vending cup, so there is no need for adjustments to cup dropping units.
The extra cups per stack mean the 12oz Max cups are ideal for increasing opportunities for twin turret machines and maximising the potential of high volume sites.
Lids to fit the Venezia range, available at Bunzl Catering Supplies, are ideal for foaming beverages and incorporate plug fit rims to ensure a safer tighter seal whilst travelling with the drink.
Bender’s Venezia design vending cup range is made at their UK based BRC/IOP AA Grade factory using PEFC certified paper board to make sure that all of their cups are made using only sustainably managed forest resources.
These cups are also eligible for recycling if used in line with a designated collection and recycling service, such as Simply Cups, of which Bunzl Catering Supplies and Benders are founding members.
