Back-of-house food safety labels are essential in all professional kitchens. They are an excellent way to monitor proper food rotation and ensure First In First Out (FIFO) protocol.
Ensuring food freshness is an integral part to any food safety plan, and the most inexpensive and efficient way to ensure the freshness and safety of food is a simple food safety labelling system.
Color-coded labels allow every person in the kitchen to quickly and easily identify the right food at the right time. Colour-coding means the labels are easy to understand, regardless of language and on day of the week labels there is often a gap under the day text which allows room for further notes and information.
By using food safety labels you will be able to keep on top of food expiration dates, highlight allergy information and demonstrate to health inspectors that the kitchen environment is up to code and serving the freshest food possible.
Keeping label rolls clean, organized and accessible in the hectic, fast-paced atmosphere of a kitchen can be challenging and frustrating. The DayMark LabelSafe™ storage system is an affordable, durable solution for keeping and organising up to seven rolls of labels—ideal for day of the week and other food rotation labels. With labels being so important for identifying allergens, noting use by dates and providing storage and preparation instructions, can you really afford to misplace them?
The LabelSafe brings an enhancement to the DayMark product portfolio that gives customers a secure and robust dispensing system for their date-coding labels in any commercial environment.
Made of sturdy polypropylene, LabelSafe easily holds the weight of all labels when its seven label compartments are filled to capacity. It features a sturdy black base and non-slip pads on the bottom that ensure the unit remains stable whilst the labels are dispensed. Additionally, a secure locking mechanism protects the labels in high impact situations.
Unlike hinged units that can crack or deteriorate over time, LabelSafe features an opaque, detachable lid that fits securely on the case and removes easily. It is ideal for monitoring label inventory as it allows the operator to clearly see the relevant labels in use.
The unit can easily be cleaned in any dishwasher to ensure they remain clean and free of dirt in the kitchen.
The LabelSafe storage system is available in three versions, each accommodating different label sizes and capacities: one that holds 51mm labels (500 labels per roll), one for labels that are 25mm in width (1000 labels per roll), and one that fits 19mm labels (2000 labels per roll).
