Since the awards were first launched, Bunzl Catering Supplies has been a lead supporter, championing the organisations, innovations and individuals helping to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and drive more sustainable practices throughout the sector.

As both sponsors and past winners, Bunzl Catering Supplies understands the value of celebrating practical action and progress. In 2024, the business won the waste2zero Best Recycling or Upcycling Project Award for its Verive range of reusable food packaging and Verive 360° service offer.

This followed recognition in 2021, when Bunzl UK & Ireland won the Best Product, Technology and Innovation Award at the waste2zero Awards for the Cleanline Eco professional cleaning range.

The waste2zero Awards continue to provide an important platform for the out of home industry to showcase best practice, share ideas and recognise the initiatives making a measurable difference to waste reduction and prevention.

Now in its celebratory 10th annual cycle, the awards are open for entries across categories covering areas including recycling, upcycling, waste prevention, closed loop projects, food redistribution, technology and resource management.
